The movement to value-based payment models, combined with regulatory changes allowing Medicare Advantage plans to expand supplemental benefits offerings, has created more opportunities for aging and disability community-based organizations (CBOs) to engage in contracts with health care entities. To build and sustain such partnerships, CBOs need to assess the state of their current financial health and learn business knowledge and skills to grow and strengthen their service delivery capacity.
To increase cross-sector partnership opportunity and improve financial acumen, the Aging and Disability Business Institute hosted two Financial Acumen Learning Collaboratives for CBOs in partnership with Collaborative Consulting. The following products were developed from those collaboratives.
