Does your community-based organization (CBO) have an innovative contract or strategic partnership with a health care entity to serve older adults and people with disabilities? If so, consider nominating it for The John A. Hartford Foundation 2021 Business Innovation Award.
Each year, The John A. Hartford Foundation Business Innovation Award recognizes aging and disability CBOs for the innovative approaches they have taken to reduce health care costs and improve the well-being of older adults and people with disabilities through strategic partnerships with health care entities. Presented by the Aging and Disability Business Institute, this award draws national attention to the importance of cross-sector collaboration and spurs replication of these partnerships.
This year, the Business Institute encourages nominations that highlight innovations in CBO—health care contracting related to COVID-19 response or those that address health equity and health disparities.
All recipients will be presented with a plaque and the first-place winner will receive a monetary award of up to $5,000 during the National Association of Area Agencies on Aging’s Annual Conference and Tradeshow, which will be held virtually July 19-22.
Nominations will close May 21, 2021, so be sure to submit your nominations soon! Learn more about The John A. Hartford Foundation Business Innovation Award and read about past recipients.
