The Health Care Guide to Contracting with CBOs

The Aging and Disability Business Institute, the Partnership to Align Social Care and the Camden Coalition partnered to develop a resource toolkit, the Health Care Guide to Contracting with CBOs, “that offers a deep dive into leading contracting practices to effectively and efficiently address health-related social needs (HRSNs).”

The four-part toolkit, developed with extensive input from CBOs, health plans, and health systems, focuses on the essential elements of contracting between health plans and community partners, and features leading practices from the field. While this toolkit was developed for a health care audience, community-based organizations, community care hubs and other health care and social care ecosystem stakeholders will benefit from understanding how health care organizations approach the contracting process.

Each part of the toolkit addresses a critical component of the contracting process and includes a resource guide, recording and slides from an accompanying webinar, and in some cases, additional tools to help guide the process.
