A new publication from the Aging and Disability Business Institute, Health Care Quality Metrics and Measures, provides Area Agencies on Aging and community-based organizations with updated guidance on health care quality and performance standards, which can help inform the contracting strategies they use with health plans. The publication provides AAAs, CBOs and networks with regulatory and industry drivers for quality standards as well as tools and resources for measuring those standards. The resource guide also describes challenges, including the need to address health disparities, as well as opportunities for AAAs, CBOs and networks.
