Part of a six-part series of Linkage Lab case studies developed by The SCAN Foundation, this Success Story showcases how St. Paul’s Senior Services (St. Paul’s) was able to strengthen its overall market position, implement an effective electronic health record (EHR) system, enhance community awareness of its Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) offerings and establish new staff to focus on the growth of home- and community-based services.
A full-service, non-profit retirement community located in San Diego, California, St. Paul’s includes independent, assisted living and skilled nursing communities, as well as an intergenerational daycare program and a PACE program. St. Paul’s participated in the Linkage Lab to identify a number of issues and opportunities they needed to address in order to successfully contract with the health care sector.
