Part of a six-part series of Linkage Lab case studies developed by The SCAN Foundation, this Success Story highlights how the Jewish Family Services of Los Angeles‘ (JFS) experience in the Linkage Lab enabled it to focus on capacity to acquire business with health care payers and providers, re-evaluate leadership structures and interact with health care payers more strategically.
Under the guidance of the ethical and spiritual values of Judaism, JFS serves older adults and people with disabilities through a variety of services, including at-home health and wellness, mental health, meals, transportation and social and physical activities. With the support of the Linkage Lab, JFS aimed to serve at least 3,500 clients annually; generate a minimum of $5 million in annual revenue, with a 10 percent margin; and expand its older adult service capacity in the areas of care management, behavioral health services and care transitions.
