With Pennsylvania’s looming shift to managed long-term services and supports (MLTSS), AAAs had a choice: innovate or be marginalized. The state’s market-savvy AAAs innovated with a data-driven strategy for success in a competitive performance-driven marketplace. The group created Comprehensive Care Connections (C3) to support member AAAs in expanding geographic reach while packaging a competitive suite of high-quality, person-centered services which will add value for Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) while delivering consistently high-quality outcomes for the MCO’s members.

Access to actionable, real-time data is the new strategic imperative for successful AAAs. AAAs need new ways to think about evaluating and implementing technology for success in the new value-based world of LTSS. The presentation, part of n4a’s annual 2017 conference, spotlighted C3’s replicable approach to IT and performance measurement, designed to minimize risks & maximize success with improved consumer outcomes in modern performance-based markets.
