Health information technology (IT) provides organizations with the ability to record, store, protect and retrieve administrative, clinical or financial information. Yet, countless health IT systems exist and offer varying capabilities and services. As your community-based organization works to collaborate and safely share information with others, finding one that can support your service delivery and reporting needs requires research. In your effort to research and vet health IT vendor systems, this downloadable Health Information Technology Grid can provide you with an investigation framework featuring many of the common attributes that are most useful to community-based organizations.
