Fast-track Innovation: Area Agencies on Aging Respond to the COVID-19 Pandemic

A new article published in the Journal of Aging & Social Policy highlights the rapid response mounted by Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs) combatting the coronavirus pandemic in their communities, shifting service delivery models to meet the evolving needs of older adults. Co-authored by the National Association of Area Agencies on Aging and researchers at Scripps Gerontology Center at Miami University and University of California, Berkeley School of Public Health, the article, Fast-track Innovation: Area Agencies on Aging Respond to the COVID-19 Pandemic, examines factors that contributed to the ability of AAAs to execute a dynamic response and how AAAs are positioned as key partners in a transformed health system.
