In this TIM Talks webinar, consultant Tim McNeill examines how new policy developments mandating more value and accountability in the health care system are changing the way hospitals think about and design their care delivery paradigms. Opportunities now exist for community-based organizations (CBOs) to capitalize on hospitals’ growing interest in partnering with providers of services that can save them money and help them meet quality metrics by impacting the social and community determinants of health. CBOs have expertise and experience in providing these types of programs, but many need guidance on how to go about initiating and executing formal health care relationships. To that end, a large portion of this webinar is devoted to a walk-through of the steps a CBO should take to get to a successful hospital contract.
