The National Council on Aging is hosting a webinar series focused on veteran’s right to age well. Many of the 20 million veterans of the U.S. armed forces face unique challenges to accessing benefits and health care services, including a higher prevalence of behavioral health issues, frustrations with the health care system, and lack of knowledge about available services.

Join this webinar to hear from experts at the Veterans Administration on the importance of serving veterans  through community-based services. Examples of successful partnerships developed by state and local organizations in Utah and Maryland to implement Chronic Disease Self-Management Education programs for veterans will be highlighted.
