Administered in partnership with Scripps Gerontology Center, the Aging and Disability Business Institute’s 2023 CBO-Health Care Contracting Survey measures the extent to which aging and disability community-based organizations (CBOs) and networks are contracting with health care entities and to better understand the partnerships, services, target populations, payment models, opportunities and challenges related to these contracts. Data from the survey help the Business Institute develop targeted and relevant resources for CBOs engaged in this work as well as materials that help raise the visibility of partnerships between CBOs and health care entities. The survey also helps us educate policymakers and health care professionals on the growing capacity of aging and disability CBOs for these partnerships.
At the Nexus of Social Care: Successful Contracting Between CBOs And Health Care Entities, a data brief from Scripps Gerontology Center, summarizes findings from the 2023 CBO-Health Care Contracting Survey, highlighting data on Community Care Hubs and trends on health care partners, services delivered, payment structures, contracting challenges and partnership experiences. The report also tracks trends in how the contracting landscape has changed since 2017.
